| Comment: | A one and-a-half day meeting, the Physician Executives Health Policy Orientation offers an in-depth introduction to formal and in-formal policymaking processes, key stakeholders, and critical health policy issues. The program includes presentations by well-known experts, interactive panels and group discussions. The Orientation is designed in a small-classroom format with a one-to-one ratio of faculty to participants.
Co-sponsored by the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) and AcademyHealth, the meeting brings together physician leaders and medical professionals in leadership or senior management positions who are interested in learning the fundamentals of health policy development and implementation. Attendees include chief executive officers, chief medical officers, vice presidents of medical affairs, medical directors, and other physicians. |
