Comment: | This two day course will provide a comprehensive overview of infective conditions affecting the lung. The focus will be on clinical problems ranging from acute to chronic respiratory infection, with an emphasis on evidence-based practical management. The faculty will include a broad range of speakers, many having been involved in the drafting of national guidelines concerning respiratory infection. The course is aimed primarily at respiratory physicians, but would also be of interest to nurses and allied health professionals, microbiologists and infectious disease physicians with an interest in this area. Topics include: Microbes and antimicrobes, Acute respiratory infections, Tuberculosis, Chronic respiratory infections. |
